Advice for Chiropractic Patients

On the 26th March, 2020, the Government published a Statutory Instrument (No. 350) stating that Chiropractors and Osteopaths are exempt from closure during the Coronavirus crisis.

The MCA has recommended to its members that face-to-face appointments may be offered to patients requiring chiropractic care, provided this can be done in line with NHS and Public Health England guidance. You will be asked a number of questions to enable your chiropractor to determine if it is safe for you to attend. Your chiropractor may be offereing remote consultations if it is not safe for you to leave your home at the moment.

For your safety, your chiropractor will have made adaptions to their practice to comply with infection control procedures and will be wearing PPE during all patient contact. You may also be asked to wear a mask.

Your safety is our paramount concern, so please be preapred to answer addtional questions before attending for an appointment and again on arrival. Your chiropractor may take your temperature and ask you questions specifcally about Covid-19 and how you are feeling. It is very important that you advise your chiropractor before attending in person if you are feeling unwell.
